Hello, my name is Nichole Porter, but most people know me as Nicki. I’m married to a wonderful—and self-proclaimed funny—man named John. Together, we’ve been blessed with three daughters, one of whom now watches over us with her angel wings. I’ve spent over 30 years in the medical field, with the last 20 as a Registered Nurse. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of owning a home care business. But like many dreams, I kept putting it off, thinking the time wasn’t right.

That changed when my younger brother passed away unexpectedly, and I stepped into the role of being my mother’s full-time caregiver. Through the heartbreak and the responsibilities, things became clearer: life is short, and dreams don’t come true unless you take a chance. Empathy has always been part of who I am, but balancing caregiving, motherhood, and being a wife gave me a new perspective. I realized just how overwhelming it can be to manage it all—especially without support.

That’s why I started this business: to help others the way I wish I had been helped. We offer home care, transportation, and cleaning services—the very things I needed most during my own caregiving journey. A wheelchair-accessible van would have been a godsend, and someone to help clean during those exhausting days would’ve made a world of difference.

Currently, we provide transportation for ambulatory clients, including those who use a wheelchair for longer distances. I understand that every person and every family has unique needs, and I’m here to listen and help in any way I can.
